Little Bird – Parents’ experiences 2026

Since April 2026, applications for childcare places in Ulm have been made through the Little Bird family portal.
The General Parents’ Council of Ulm childcare centres and after-school care facilities would like to know how parents experience the new process:
What works well? Where are there difficulties or uncertainties? And what should be improved?
We are interested both in using the portal and in the information and feedback provided during the subsequent application and allocation process.
The survey takes approximately 3–5 minutes and is anonymous.
We do not ask for your name, email address, telephone number or your child’s specific childcare centre.
Please also do not mention the names of children, parents, staff members or facilities, or any other information that could identify individuals, in the optional free-text fields.
If you have used Little Bird for more than one child, please base your answers on the application process you started most recently.
